Cloeren offers the most advanced extrusion die technology available. Once polymers merge in the feedblock, they then flow into the die. At Cloeren, we understand the complexities between viscoelastic fluid flow and mechanical and thermal interactions in polymer processing.
Cloeren extrusion dies are available in a multitude of shapes and sizes to produce un-oriented films as thin as 5 microns or sheet up to 30 mm. Cloeren dies range in widths from 50 mm to 10 meters.
To achieve ideal performance standards, Cloeren takes a disciplined approach by applying a scientific methodology to viscoelastic fluid flow through the extrusion head system. Cloeren uses a comprehensive application of three-dimensional finite element analysis and proprietary computational fluid dynamics (CFD) coupled with state-of-the-art 3D model-based definition. These programs are further combined with 3, 4, and 5 axis CAM and 7 axis CAI to insure seamless integration from concept to delivery, which guarantees customers receive as-designed products.
