Vinyl is a relatively inexpensive polymer used in a variety of applications including foamed RPVC board, thermoforming applications for blister packaging, siding for the housing industry, vinyl curtains, signage, chair mats for carpet protection, blood bags, laminated film for the automotive industry, and film for food packaging. Vinyl can be rigid, semi-rigid, flexible or foamed. It is produced in thickness from very thin film to sheet of over one inch thick.
