Cloeren Incorporated,
with a long history in the development, design and
manufacture of dies for PVC, is widely recognized
as the World’s leader in this industry.
Vinyl is a relatively inexpensive
polymer used in a variety of applications including
foamed RPVC board, thermoforming applications for
blister packaging, siding for the housing industry,
vinyl curtains, signage, chair mats for carpet protection,
blood bags, laminated film for the automotive industry,
and film for food packaging. Vinyl can be rigid,
semi-rigid, flexible or foamed. It is produced in
thickness from very thin film to sheet of over one
inch thick.
While PVC is widely used
because of its cost effectiveness, and excellent
physical properties; it is considered one of the
most difficult polymers to process because of the
lack of thermal stability. Cloeren Incorporated
has developed a unique manifold, based on years
of theoretical and empirical knowledge. The key
is having optimum streamlined flow passages with
a protective polished surface for long life, extended
run-time and fast color change-over.
